Public Domesticities

Public Domesticities is an architectural thesis project completed at Syracuse University. This thesis contests that public space can benefit from an intelligence gleaned from the domestic realm. Using design principles derived from interiors within the home, three Privately Owned Public Spaces in New York City are reimagined as a Living Room, Kitchen and Bedroom.
Public Domesticities received a Citation for Excellence in Thesis Design and was selected for presentation to the 2017 Thesis Prize Jury. My presentation can be viewed here.
